Podcast Series

Elena Muraca attended Virginia Tech and obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Public and Urban Affairs with a concentration in Urban Policy and Design. During her studies, she interned as a research analyst in the Office of the Director, D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development , and was employed by Virginia Tech as an undergraduate researcher on the Decisions Sciences for Resilient Communities project where she studied the effect of stormwater on local communities.

In June of 2018, Elena interviewed Dr. Virgil Wood about his life’s work, and has since been collaborating with Wood, Professor Harvey Cox of Harvard University, and Dr. Ralph Hall to create a King-inspired “Beloved Community” podcast series.
